Hi, I’m Sakshi Agrawal, and this is noir et blanc — my own grey space, where I write about fashion, beauty, branding, and everything they don’t say out loud.
Fashion, beauty, and branding have always fascinated me. Not just for how they look, but for how they speak. Whether it’s a couture collection, a skincare ad, or the architecture of a flagship store, I’m drawn to the tension between what we see and what it actually says.
My background is in business, and my formal training is in global luxury. But most of what I’ve learned has come from watching closely. In the streets of Paris, Milan, and many other cities I’ve had the privilege to experience, I’ve seen how style lives in the everyday. In conversations, in shop windows, in museum lines, and in the quiet confidence of people who understand what they’re wearing. Over time, I’ve come to read fashion the way some people read film. For structure, symbolism, and subtext.
That curiosity has shaped the way I approach creative work. I’ve contributed to projects across content, fashion, and brand storytelling, always looking for the emotion beneath the image and the strategy behind the mood. At the heart of it all is a question: why do we respond to the things we do? Why this visual? Why now? Why us?
noir et blanc is where those questions take shape. It is where I write to understand how desire is constructed, how brands build meaning through form and feeling, and how culture codes messages into style. Some ideas come from instinct. Some from analysis. All from paying attention.
If something here resonates with how you think or what you’re building, I’d love to hear from you.
